Dear Ed,

We are looking forward to hosting the Dunstone target ward hustings this Friday 11th September. This will be your chance to choose who represents your ward in the 2021 Local Elections. As promised here is some further information.

The event will start at 7pm and should last no longer than an hour. It will take place as a Zoom video call, attended by members of Dunstone Ward, along with members of the local party Executive.

During the first part of the event, the two prospective candidates, Richard Worrall and Chris Oram, will introduce themselves and answer a set of prepared questions. During the second part, we will open up for members to ask their own questions to the candidates.

Following this, there will be an anonymised vote to select the candidate for Dunstone Ward. If eight or more Dunstone members are present, it will just be the Dunstone members who vote. If less than eight Dunstone members are present, both Dunstone members and Exec members will vote. If there is an equal number of votes for each candidate, the Acting Chair will have the deciding vote.
