Several people set up a "Missing MP" banner in Tavistock last Saturday, in protest at Geoffrey Cox allegedly moonlighting in the Virgin Islands, and not being available in his constituency. A lot of people seemed to find it amusing, as it made a point about standards in government, with which they largely agree.
The level of discontent about sleaze and second jobs is pretty high, and very cross party.
Anthea Simmons covered the event for Westcountry Bylines, and also interviewed Dan the Fishman, who was at his stall nearby.
Dan is something of a personality locally, not only for selling quality fish, but also for airing a view that Brexit might have been a mistake.
